Jay’s Deli has been a Greensboro staple since before the 1950’s. We started in the 600 block of North Elm Street. Then in 1956 Jay’s Deli opened a second location in the then-new Friendly Shopping Center. We moved to our current location in Friendly Shopping Center in 1997. We are one of the oldest tenants in Friendly Shopping Center!

We recently entered an exciting new chapter under new ownership. In May 2026, longtime employee Sharee Hankins, who has been at Jay's Deli for more than 20 years, officially became the new owner!

We pride ourselves on having fresh and delicious food, and offering a wide variety of options. We are sure to have something for everyone in your family.
